CODE OF PRACTICE
Requirements For Safe Wakeboarding / Kneeboarding
Min age 09 years of age, unless your kid already knows how to wakeboard.
You must read and understand this Code of Practice, and accept the risks associated with the nature of the activity.
Understand that wakeboarding is a hazardous sport.
You must not knowingly suffer from epilepsy or any other medical condition rendering you unfit to wakeboard.
You must be able to swim 25 metres with a life jacket on.
Rules for Safe Wakeboarding / Kneeboarding
Wearing a life jacket and helmet is compulsory.
Take avoiding action if you see someone in the water.
If in doubt, let go of the tow rope immediately.
If you see any hazards in the water - debris, or someone in trouble, go to the nearest bank and report to a member of the cable staff immediately.
If you fall, let go of the handle! We will reverse the cable and bring the handle back to you. If you need assistance, raise your arms above your head, otherwise swim quickly to the nearest shore then walk back to the start, carrying your equipment with you.
Always obey all instruction given to you by cable staff.
Never ride into the starting area or shallow water.
Never wrap the tow rope around any part of the body, or place any part of the body through the tow handle.
Any horseplay on or off the water, use of alcohol or drugs, or disobeying instructions given by any cable staff will result in you being asked to leave the site immediately, and without refund, and may result in you being banned for an indefinite period.
Only designated hire boards to be used on the cable features.
All jewellery must be removed.
Only wakeboard to within your own ability.
No swimming into the aqua park designated area.
If you want to go on the obstacles, you must tell the cable staff in advance and you must pass a competency test.
